Now Randi, not to hi-jack your thread, but Miss Z was just wondering what was Number One in the UK when she was born. This link gives both - This Day in Music
No 1 in the UK when I was born was "Magic Moments" by Perry Como. I already knew that though, because my mum remembers it being on the radio when my dad was cutting her toenails. She was way past the stage of being able to do that herself. :D Awwwwww!
Appartently No 1 in the US when I was born was "Catch a Falling Star" by Perry Como. Perry was obviously flavour of the month!
