Would have been my Katz's 20th birthday today

Can't help it, but even though I have lost my beloved Katz 6 years ago, I always remember her birthday on May 1st. For so many years, this day was a special day of joy, and since it's a holiday, I could spend it with Katz every time. :)

Aw Kirsten, Katz was so beautiful!! It is normal that this day makes you sad; the pain gets "softer" every year, but will never go away. Try to remember the great days and all the memories you had with her; I am sure there are many!! I will look at her tribute-page tomorrow, I bookmarked it :)

Thank you everyone, also for visiting her page! :) Tomorrow will be the 6th anniversary of her passing. She died two days after her 14th birthday.

BTW, the night she was born, back in 1986, the first radioactive rain came down, after the Chernobyl incident. Sort of heartbreaking to think that everything around her was contaminated while she was playing happily in the green grass:

She was a very sweet looking kitty. She led a pretty long life considering what happened the night she was born. RIP Katz.
