Casey went in for her comprehensive exam and dental cleaning today.
She has lost 4 pounds! The vet says if she loses 4 or 5 pounds more her weight will be fine. Since bubba is off the puppy food its been a lot easier, she had some late night puppy food stealings.
I was worried sick about her because of the anasthesia but they gave her the minimum amount and she is not as out of it as last time, I had them trim her nails while she was out to. All her blood work looked great.
Way to go Casey! :) You'll be in swimsuit shape for the summer, LOL.
Way to go, Casey! How did you do it? Is mom feeding you green beans? exercising more? (Sherms could stand to loose five lbs, too. just trying to get some ideas here)
cyber-sibes...the main thing was keeping her out of the puppy food for bubba, I would leave food out for him because I felt like he needed to free feed. Once he turned a year old I put him on a twice a day schedule. I actually only feed Casey once a day and I don't give her too much.
I supplement with green beans sometimes also.
It's not easy to lose weight. Great job Casey! :D
Congratulations Casey! It really isn't easy to lose weight, and for a dog that is a lot. Very good!
