Vegetarian or not?

Do you eat meat at all? Or are you a Vegetarian? I don't mean to cause anything here but I'm just wondering, do plants have 'feelings?' I was talking to someone last night who said When we are eatting meat, and killing animals, whats the differents from eatting plants? If they have feelings too..? Who's to say they do or don;t? Animals feel pain and KNOW they feel it by there brain sending msg's to that area(s) as far as we know plants do not have brains so they do not feel pain. Whos to say they don't have a different type of brain? I'm deeply sorry if I offended anyone, Don't take this the wrong way, I just wanted to know If anyone knows?

As for plants feeling pain, well I agree with you partly but not really... From what I know, when a part of a plant is removed the plant get a signal to grow it out again, but doesn't feel "pain". I dunno though...
