I have been doing all of my poodles for over 30 years now except for a brief period when I took Bella to the groomer. So many times I was not pleased with how she looked when I'd go to pick her up, and they also continually got water in her ears which turned into a nasty yeast infection. Should you attempt it, you will have such a feeling of satisfaction when you are finished, even if your early attempts are not the best. :) Also, the $$$ you will save will pay for all of your grooming tools in no time. :)
