Strictly Indoor and loves it
Dear MOFF,
My Julie is very content to be inside my two-bedroom apartment; she never tries to go outside. I found her as a stray who was abandoned by some people who moved away from a duplex across the street about seven years ago. She was an adult then and of course was living outside at that time. The new tenants of the duplex were kind enough to feed her, but they did not want her, and eventually I bonded more with her and started feeding her outside our building. I had coaxed her into my apartment but she would freak if I tried to close the door with her inside.
Then one night when I came home she rushed out to my car and scared me to death because I thought she had gone under the wheels! So I grabbed her and took her inside and she has been quite content there ever since! My guess is that she must have begun her life as an indoor kitty, because she was being beaten up by the other neighborhood cats and did not have good sense about staying out of the street. As for me, I am delighted! I would not have her any other way.
So give your Leonardo a kiss for me. I love that name ... MARTHA
