Okay, it's another training update on Buddy :) And its a really good one. Buddy and I have been practicing training, yesterday the wood door was open, the screen door was closed, but he knows how to open it. He opened it and went pee on a bush. I ran out and said 'Buddy come'. And guess what? He came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm.. does your screen door have a latch? I don't think I would like the idea of my dog knowing how to open a front door! Regardless if he would run off or not.

Yes, but, its only on the inside of the door, so when we go outside, we cant lock it. I don't like how he knows how to open it either.
A minute ago he ran off again. I called him and called him but he would not come. Maybe he just felt like coming yesterday... huhhhh.... I had to run outside in the pouring rain, barefooted and get him :rolleyes:

Glad Buddy's making some progress. You will have to keep working on it with him so he listens to you all the time. I know how hard it is, Molli has a horrible recall and when running free it's like I don't even exist. Sam is a little better, he normally listens to me.
