I did my federal income taxes. I've tried for 3 hours to figure out how to file both in Connecticut and Michigan as part-time resident.
I give up. I called H&R Block and have an appointment at noon. Hey, at least I tried!!

Good luck with that! Our tax system is completely ridiculous - when one has to hire a professional to figure it out, you know it's too complex.
Karen,
Yeah, really!! Actually, this is the very first time I've tried doing it myself in 10 years.
Ugh I hate taxes. My husband always does them, and he usually uses Turbo Tax. It's so complicated anymore...good luck!
LOL! I gave up on taxes too and just sent everything to my accountant for him to figure out. Sure, our bill is almost $100 more than we budgeted for but I didn't have to fret and fuss over them, and thats is worth every penny!
I walked out more confused than when I walked in!!! I'm gonna try doing it on my own. The guy there was very nice and gave me some great advice. But I'm still confused and a little intimidated. Numbers make me VERY nervous. So does math.
LOL,sorry to here your frustrated, but im sure your not alone ;) Good Luck with it! :)
