Well, I had Pixie out earlier and was playing with her a bit. Got some nice shots, too ^^ Either she's getting more photogenic, or I'm just getting better at taking pictures o.O

i danno how you do that. :eek: and black coated dogs are hard to get good pictures of(or so ive heard)

Vette: Yes, black dogs are a bit harder to photograph because a) if you use the flash, you'll get terrible looking red eyes and b) because of the dark coat, the shudder stays open longer and often causes blurred photos. Thats why I always take mine outside in the sun ^^

What kinda camera do you have?

i dont like taking indoor shots because either the lighting sucks.. or redeye occures.

yep, same here. I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel D300. It has just over 6 Megapixels, and works wonderfully! Canon is a great camera company.

The price has actually gone down pretty far. I bought it for $690 a few months back, but since then, the Rebel XT has come out and "replaced" it. I'm sure you could find one for about $500 now.

Oh, and Pixie is a border collie/schipperke mix ^^

I am amazed by those shots!! Pixie is stunning.. and your good eye for good photography really captures the best of her!
