This is the Midway, a decommissioned carrier that's now a museum.

A couple of dolphins. We were surrounded by a whole pod of them swimming in the wake of the boat. Sorry it's a bit fuzzy and ignore the date...I just got a new camera and was trying to figure out settings.

Hope you enjoyed. :)

Yup! That's a good whale shot you got. I'm terrible at taking whale watch pictures. Sometimes I get a bit of a fluke, that's about it, my timing is just terrible!

I used to love going to my brothers house in Washington state on orcas Island his house over looked the bay that killer whale j-pod would be in daily. He moved to Idaho so I have now where except the whale mueseam there.

We went last year during the Whale Watching Festival and all we saw was "plumes"! You were lucky to see so much. So they are still in San Diego.....

Last year I was really lucky when I went. We saw about 5 whales in one area including a calf and mom. That one picture was about it this time, but it's still a nice relaxing trip. :) Karen, all I can say is I got really luck with that shot...normally I'm with you, hence last year of all the shots I took I think one was sort of usable. ;)
