Does he think he is fooling me?
Lately I've noticed something really odd that Oliver will do when he begs during breakfast and dinner. When I stop feeding him (to eat myself) he will switch sides and beg there instead. To me, it almost seems as he thinks I will belive that he is a different cat and feed it instead since it hasn't gotten anything yet. And whenever I stop feeding him again he will switch sides again and this will happen over and over until I leave the table.
Maybe it's just my imagination all together, but I thought it was pretty funny in any case and wanted to see what other people thought about it!

:D :D That is funny!! He sure think he's smart - and I bet it works too!!
When we're having lunch, Fister will occasionally come over - if he can drag himself off our bed - and he expects a piece of ham. If there's shrimps on the table, no matter how fast asleep he is, he'll be there and put his paws on the edge until he gets one! :p
Yes... they try to fool us.......
Mocha has a special treat dish on top of the fridge (Daddy feed's her cheese there:rolleyes: ) and Bonzo sits up there and "pretends" to be Mocha.... He has HIS OWN treat dish elsewhere. It's SO funny because he tries to act like Mocha but,...WELL, let's just say he is not as GRACEFUL as Mocha!:o :D
