Birdies

As you may know I feed the pigeons outside the office window every day - I've got more visitors today in the shape of 3 jackdaws!

We also get pigeons as visitors! 2 grey ones, and 2 white ones! Every year they make a nest under our roof, but the eggs or little ones always fall out :eek: :(

Aw, I love feeding wild birds!:D


In my garden, we know have a huge male pheasant who comes and gobbles up all the stuff we put out for him. And, we've just managed to tempt a treecreeper to our garden, they're quite rare and very hard to spot as they are secretive and blend in with bark. But I really love watching them, especially as there is now a pair of bullfinches nesting in the tree opposite my bedroom window, a pair of blue tits inspecting our bird box, and starlings nesting in our neighbour's roof, where I can see them perfectly therough binoculours!:) I've seen jackdaws, but I don't get them in my garden.

each time i try to feed wild birds my cats make sure the birds don't stick arounf very long. :rolleyes:
