My dear boy Malfi needs everyone to start singing for him, as he is scheduled for a dental on Tuesday.

It has taken us 18 months to get him healthy enough to do this procedure.

He has an auto-immune disease (pemphigus foliaceous) and this dental could cause him to flare up, which means infection in the skin areas.

Please pray the he endures the dental, and doesn't have a flare up, and has a speedy recovery.

He sure deserves to feel better, after all that he's been through.

Oh my dear little sling hugging Malfi, I won't stop singing until I know you are out of surgery and well on the way to recovery. Mind you I might have some complaints from the peanut gallery here in regards to my singing, but I don't care. They will just have to understand.

Prayers and positive thoughts on the way that Malfi's dental procedure goes very well, with no complications whatsoever and that he has a full and speedy recovery.

Tomorrow I will be on pins and needles waiting for the update. This thread will be the first one that I will check when I get home from work.

Please, please, PLEASE dear God, make sure that precious Malfi has no flare ups. He has been through enough.

Malfi, I'm ready to sing for you. You may have heard that my Filou had trouble for his dental as well as the vet didn't dare to use normal anesthetics. Well, everything went well with an absolute short term anesthetic and I hope it's the same for you.
Filou and Tigris will sing too :)

Malfi is home.

How tough and cool is Malfi? He had 5 big extractions and is walking around, using the box and sitting with his Daddy. (Mr. Jones, a healthy young tuff, was a sloppy drunk after his dental last year.)

Malfi did everything right, and now just has to recover. They really took special care of him at the Vet.

He's already rubbing and purring.
As long as we can keep his disease in check, we are one happy and grateful family tonight.

Malfi, sweetie, I am so pleased to hear that they treated you with extra-special care at the vet, and that you seem to be doing so well.
