My cousin got a new Boxer, now we've got 2 boxers in the family! (my brother has one, too) Well she told us it's a Leopard Boxer, that the coloring is spotted like a leopard. Have you ever heard of one? Sounds like a BYB to me...

what?? This must be a joke. The only spotted boxer I can think of is a white one with small flecks of pigment
EDIT: JUST had an idea, what if it is a cross between a boxer and a catahoula??
Same here... My brother's boxer is white with black pigments on the skin. I will see this 'Leopard Boxer' when I go to my cousin's wedding in May.Quote:

Hmmm maybe. I will ask if they've got a pic and they could send one to me.
HUH?!?! i've gotta see this!
Come to think of it... I think I've heard of a Catahoula Boxer in a book before or something, I'll have to look. There was Bull Boxer... and something else, maybe it was Catahoula Boxer  I'll have to check. Does your cousin have a camera? Can he take some pictures and email them to you? Then you could post them here?
Probably a spottyish brindle.
is it a white boxer?
it is quite common for white boxers to have spots

Nope... the dog is apparently brown and black.
Ah, brown and black, I have a strong feeling it is just lightly brindled then and gives the appearance of spots :)Quote:
