RIP Taffy =(

Some of you might have seen the thread I made earlier about Taffy not doing all that great. Yesterday he seemed so much better, he was scooting around more, eating so much, and was able to put weight on his back legs.

This morning when I woke up, Taffy had moved from where I put him last nights. He was laying with his face in the bedding and barley breathing. I moved him by his water and food, but than I had to go to school. I just had a bad feeling this morning. My dad told me around 10:00 am he went up to my room to check on him, and he was gone.

This picture is now my desktop. I beleive that that was the last time he was outside. I think that might be one of my favorite pictures. He was always so curious about the camara.

All of these comments mean so much to me.

When I was at school yesterday, I told one of my friends that he died. She just said "Oh, well...I don't think you liked him that much anyways. Why don't you just get another one?" That really upset me....She did apologize when she realized that it hurt me, though. My other friend (who is a huge animal lover, too) felt really bad and tried to make me feel better.

I'm just glad that I know he is ok now. I'm glad he died peacefully and before he went he had one day where he seemed so much better. I was really, really scared that he was going to get sores from laying on the same side and that they would get infected. I'm just glad that he is better now.

I just saw this! Oh my gosh. I am so sorry.. I hope you know Taffy is in alot better place with no pain, but I know he lived a very happy life with you.
