I Got The Job!!!!!
As of March 13th, I'll be the executive assistant to the Circulation Department Manager of the New Haven Register.
WOOHOO!!!! :D:D:D:D
I had been waiting ALL DAY, agitated (thanks to my freaking Doctor's office again!!). Maureen (the woman whose place I'm taking) called while I was at work at BB&B and left a message on my cellphone offering me the position. I snuck into the ladies room and called her back (we're not supposed to have our cellphones on the floor :p )
She said that she had some real personalities to deal with interviewing for the position and knows she made the right decision. I said she DID make the right decision, I'm going to give 200% and she would NOT be disappointed.
FINALLY I can live normally again, paying my bills and being able to go out and have a little fun too.
Oh, and I've learned my lesson. I WILL get all the details in writing this time. This company is way too big to screw me over the way Michigan Memorial Funeral Home did.
I'm tired (I just got home from work) and am heading off to bed. I KNOW I won't have any difficulty sleeping tonight!
