We have a new committee at work

This was an e-mail sent out to everyone in the office from one of the policy analysts, who has started a "beer committee" at work. Note the usage of appropriate lingo. . . Quite original! It had me lol. :D

Colleagues:

A recent informal review of workplace health practices in PPD identified the lack of strategic approach to beer consumption within the Directorate. The study, funded by the group PPD Cape Bretoners Who Love Beer, found that beer was consumed in an ad hoc fashion by most Directorate employees, and that the mental health benefits of moderate beer consumption were therefore unevenly distributed throughout the PPD workforce. In an effort to address this unacceptable situation, a new Committee has been formed to examine the issue in greater depth and promote dialogue among employees about this important workplace health issue.
