    Hi Catherinedana,

    I'm Karen from the island of Malta in Europe, and joined Pet talk some years back. Today I joined your Group The Parrot Perch, since 3 wks ago, my husband got me 2 lovebirds as a surprise ). Never had parrots so these are the first. Did some research so to get some knowledge on how to properly care for them.

    Will post some pictures soon.

    Yes actually I have to parakeets one male and one female I just haven't gotten any real good pics of them yet. Actually I only posted pics of my one dog that I lost to cancer back in 2006. I did get a new dog that same year but I haven't gotten far enough yet to post some pics of her yet either but I do have some. I also have two rabbits and 8 cats. I' be more then willing to post those pics as well I just have so many of my cats it's hard to piick the right ones to post lol. Thank you for looking at my photos.

I am an avid bird lover, sharing my home with a small flock :-). Originally from Brookklyn, NY, I moved to FL about 15 years ago and am now officially a Florida Sunflower. I volunteer at a local wild bird Sanctuary.
Interests:
MUSIC!!! I play Native American flute, small percussion, guitar and sing. I write music and poetry. I love to garden and I adore the beaches here on the West Coast of FL, but I don't go as often as I would like! Avid reader. I love horror movies.
