It sounds like you have a fun and loving home with your fetch games and companion "Teddy". Teddy is only five years old, I'd call him a very young "senior"--hopefully he/she will warm up to you and you can have a all day playmate. We have the same situation with our feline family.

Charly,we think that if you work hard enough that you will wera Teddy down,with all that Love and Grooming.
After all,it has taken the Princess about 14 Years and shes just getting used to Michael,and JJJ3.

Greetings to you beautiful Charly! A girl as charming and unique as you deserves an equally distinctive name and "Charly" fits the bill to perfection!:) I had to laugh reading your bio. Charly! My Maine Coon x Oliver is our resident Houdini!:D Those antics sure keep us Moms on our toes!;) My Oliver once jumped into the dryer when my back was turned and nearly took a spin!:eek:


We've discovered that Charly is quite mischievous and takes every opportunity to sneak through an open door, crawl into a cabinet, climb up onto a shelf or into a bag or box. In fact, she's been "accidentally" shut inside a closet or pantry several times until we heard her call out to be rescued!

Now don't give up on brother Teddy, Charly! With a litle more time and patience, I'm sure you'll win over his heart, just as you've won over all of ours!:)

I just can't accept it! I just can't accept it!

Nor can I remain silent about it!

Charly comes running to greet you like a cat, not like a puppy! And I'll bet there is a lot more elegance and graceful swish in the motion of her tail than has ever been seen in the exuberant beating of a puppy's flexible rear appendage! As for the 'fetch" thing, cats have been fetching feline-style since they first made friends with humans and anyone who doesn't believe this need only look at the cat hieroglyphs from the tombs of so many Egyptian Pharohs and Queens!

How often do those hieroglyphs tell the story of a cat fetching little flaxen -seed balls, stuffed mice, and toddler sandals??? Again and again and again -and not once do any of those hieroglyphs liken any of these come-running to greet, tail-swishing happily, fetching cats to a puppy, or to any canine, young or old, period!

The Egyptians knew better.

Now, you know better, too.

A cat is a cat is a cat and not a puppy; the beautiful, friendly and exuberant Charly is most definitely a cat.
