Well, there is a husky mix in my towns shelter, and I am very concerned for him. Most people in my area only will buy huskies for sledding, and Gomer has irriversable nerve damage, and is having it removed. I just want prayers to be said for this guy. He will really be needing them. Here is what the website says and a pic of him:

Gomer is a male Husky cross, born 7/2005. Gomer came to us with nerve damage in one of his front legs, which causes it to "knuckle over" when he tried to put weight on it. Usually nerve damage like this is irreversible, so he will likely never have control over that leg. However, it does not slow him down at all. Gomer loves to run and jump with the other dogs in the kennel. He is a very neat dog, not wanting to soil in his kennel. Gomer does jump up on people, and he does have the bad puppy habit of "mouthing" - placing his teeth on a person without actually biting. He is a beautiful boy and is extremely smart - training should not be a problem for him.
If I could adopt him, I would. My parents say no more dogs in this house. Well, no more pets to be more exact. I have enough money and everything, but I can't. I asked and begged my parents, but they said no:( So keep this boy in your prayers please!
