New user - would like to introduce myself and my dogs ^^

Hello, all! My name (or nickname, rather) is Riptide. I'm new to this forum, yay. I look forward to getting to know you ^^

I currently have one dog, a border collie mix named Pixie. I used to own a Sheltie named Carly, but had to put her down on Feb. 8th due to heart failure. Please introduce yourself and your pets as well!

i have almost 7 year old Toy Poodle by the name of Kirby(who you can see in my siggy) i found him while browsing the classifeds on the internet. went and met him,, and the rest is history!

Well...Pixie is a rescue who we got from a shelter. It was love at first sight with this little pup. She is about 3 years old, but we don't know her exact age. Carly came to us through a lady who had bought her from a breeder, but soon developed arthritis and couldn't keep up with the brushing. Carly, almost 12 years old (she missed her birthday by a week) gave our family 6 years of happiness :)

My name is Beth, and I am from Minnesota. I am owned by 3 dogs, Maggie, Autumn, and Boo boo. Maggie is 2 year old German Shepherd/ Lab. Autumn is approx. 10 months old, and is a Chow/ Shiba Inu/ Akita? Boo boo is a 13yr old Terrier mix. I am also owned by 3 cats, 3 ducks, and 2 horses! :) I hope you enjoy it here!

Welcome! Pixie is cute, I see the Schipperke too. That was a popular breed where I used to live. i'm so sorry to hear about Carly, she was very beautiful. I have two siberian huskies, as you can see - Star is 9 and Sherman is 3. I also had a rottie-australian shep mix, Rosie, went to the RB 3 years ago. That was how I found out about pettalk, and i've been here ever since - it's great place!
