catnapper

I was at work tonight when a customer came up to me and asked about nail clipping. We both looked at each other and did one of those "hey, I know you from somewhere" But neither could place the other. Then I mentioned how I volunteer for a cat rescue, and she said "Oh! I thought you looked familiar! We adopted Minette" OMG.... I almost fell over! My beautiful Minette's mom was there trying to find out about clipping her nails! Bless her!
Turns out Minette is doing great. She's the princess she was always destined to be. She loves her human brohter, and is very tolerant of her 4 year old human sister. Mom says she might occasionally swat at the little girl but never ever with nails extended.
The only thing I was a little unhappy with was the fact that they let her outside.... which is technically breaking contract. But I've been to their house -- an old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere -- and I can't see her becoming road kill or anything unless she traveled far. They said she stays right in the back yard watching the chipmunks and sunning herself.
Its obvious that she is completely and totally loved. I could never ask for a better home... how could I tear her away from her supreme happiness just because they technically broke the contract? I could find someone else who abided by the contract word for word and she wouldn't be anywhere's near as loved, cherished, and happy.
I am just so thrilled to find out that yet another one of my fosters found a fabulous forever home!
