View Full Version : New posts versus Today’s Active threads?

When I log on to PT, I always go to New Posts first, but once you’ve been through them, they kind of disappear. :( The next time you click on New Posts, you get very few - even though you haven’t opened them all before.
To get them all to show, I have to quit Safari (browser), only then can I view them. In the old version of PT, Todays active treads came up whether you had seen them or not.
It seems that you have to open each Forum to get to the posts. Is it possible to avoid this?

If you "log out," it then says "today's active topics" instead of New Posts. Then you can read until you want to post, then you have to log back in.

I too, miss the feature of "today's active threads" very much. :( I KNOW I miss a lot of things because of the lack of it.

We need to ALL whisper in Paul's ear (or PM Box) about returning
View Today's Active Threads to active duty.
View Today's Active Threads is (was) a VERY Handy directory for
keeping the current threads up near the top of the list for easy observing.
The current "New Posts" option doesn't keep track of threads after you read them one time ... they just vanish.
PLEASE ~
Can we have the "View Today's Active Threads"
back??
**Purdy Please?**
I have to agree that this is a feature that I miss.
I plan on adding "Today's Active Topics (http://petoftheday.com/talk/search.php?do=getdaily)" this week.

I've already been browsing using the "new posts" option cause I copied the URL format from another forum using the same script - and it worked! hehe
