The Olive Garden in Framingham is very easy to get to and get away from. It is literally on Route 9, but very, very close to the Mass Turnpike exit for Route 30. The staff is friendly, as well, Paul and I go there regularly. It is also located in what we call "Shopping Mecca," within Shoppers World, and a short street away from the Natick Mall, Sherwood Plaza (which has a Christmastree Shop, for those who know what THOSE are, and a PetCo which seems to take very good care of their critters) and Pet World, which is a non-chain store that has a great selection of kitty toys - better than anywhere else!
I can post directions if anyone wants to join us!

I just called BB&B and I'm off that day. HOWEVER, I have a job interview today at 3 pm for a full-time job at a spa. Don't know how THAT will turn out, but I'm hopeful. Either way...
I'LL BE THERE!!!
I'll need directions though. Oliver Garden - YUMMY!!!!! I'll bring some of my "stash" for those who have kitties. I'll bring some bunny treats for Miss Hoppy too. Can't forget our honorable "first bunny".

Excellent - a 3 pm interview is plenty of time to get to Massachusetts!
You are whereabouts in CT, Donna? Probably not in Eastern CT, so I'll PM you directions involving 84 to the Pike, will that work?

Karen,
Actually, I'm near 95 not 84. If you give me the address of the Olive Garden, I can probably mapquest it. BTW, Does Miss Hoppy like those carrot stick treats they sell??? What time are we meeting??

We're meeting there at 6 p.m.
Miss Hoppy doesn't particularly like the carrot-shaped wooden treats, thank you for asking. For wood, she likes best the sticks Grandpa finds for her. Seed treats are her favorite of store-bought things.
The Olive Garden address is 1 WORCESTER RD
FRAMINGHAM MA 01701 (508) 879-7285.
Let me know what route you'll be taking, and I can provide better landmarks - whether you're coming off the Mass Pike (90), or Route 9 (Worcester Rd.), or Route 30 (Commonwealth Ave.) ... I can clarify things for you.

Just after I left the house, it turns out, Moosmom sent me a PM saying she couldn't make it because of car trouble. But Gina and I didn't know, so we waited until 7 p.m., then had a lovely dinner. It was just Gina, Crayola and myself, as Paul had gotten an important (and we knew it would be lengthy) call just before I was leaving.
But we had a nice time, and Gina took lots of pictures, including one of me that you will not see, as the look on my face is just about sure to melt your computer monitor!

Since Gina was so close after having dinner with the Mayor Karen last week, we were fortunate enough to be able to spend some time together over the weekend. I am so happy to say that I have finally met her and she brought along half of her Ark, the 4 brothers who just had their birthday, Gus, Echo, Avalanche & Chance and also big furry Clayton (actually he isn’t that big, just lots of fur) and little girl Whispers and of course Crayola! It was such a pleasure to meet all of them and of course Gina, she is a very sweet and special girl! I really enjoyed the time that we spent together and hope that we will have an opportunity to do it again!

yeah! olive garden, we had another great time alone together but we, and crayola too, were sad that you, moosmom never came! you could have of PMed me (had pager with me, notification comes in right away) so we'd not worry silly for an hour. glad you're okay, hope you'll have a better car next time donna!
ah I couldn't resist - I'll let the cat out of bag now. . . we had brownies (from karen's sweet swap) to ourselves! :D ooo so rich & yummy! we yakked, yakked and yakked for two hours on papers & drove poor dear crayola nutty laying down under table, waiting patiently for so long.. :p some of you, crayola is my service doggie, -and my lovely golden too!- his work is to sleep! and then 'pops', alerts me if he hears anything alerty.
well, with him in guide vest, he isn't suppose to be petted but just for our mayor karen! :D oops..shh shh, I've broken a law. but after dinner, I have taken his vest off so karen could smother him all she want, he was a bit confused at first - lol. crayola then excitingly wanted more buttstritches & wagged too hard that he couldn't move! hehe.
after that, we hugged goodbye repeatly (pet talkers - you couldn't help it!), I headed off to furrykidsmother/amanda's - we had a lovely weekend! well, not much pictures to start a thread so I'll add here,
we shopped a little, made homemade (BBQ chicken & hawaiian) pizzas, baked some peanut cookies (my favorite!!) :D then had friends over and met my half ark as well too. it was so fun. also a morning of hot chocolate & fireplace, had a nice talk on (4") snow day, and went out to play with crayola, one happy, happy boy!! (eating snow at the same time running in snow!) sorry no pictures of him but plenty of amanda's furrkids! I'm so glad I get to meet them and grew trust/bondship in each other.. I'll let amanda explain that to you. ;) at end, we had an awesome dinner at a place by a lake where she and her hubby got married. and by owner's request, I got to feed the whole adorable family of zillion ducks! that, I wish I got pictures of too. :( anyway, she's like a dear mother to me and can't thank you mom and karen too enough for finding time with us! http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b127/mystichild/pinkgrin.gif
pictures to follow soon! :)

Wish I lived closer and wish we had Olive Garden in Alaska. I have written them many letters over the years and for some reason they don't want to come up here. We now have Applebees and Chili's. My mouth waters everytime they show an Olive Garden commercial.

What great pictures, glad you finally got them to post. I see you even got one up of Rusty & Fluffy, 2 of my babies. This weekend I am going to have to spend some time putting the pictures you took of my kids into Photobucket so I can share them with everyone! There are so many wonderful ones of them.
Yes, Gina and I had a great visit. It was fun shopping, making pizza and cookies together, she's the daughter I always wanted. She is amazing, we went to the restaurant that my husband and I got married at and like she said they have a zillion ducks. We were seated in the enclosed porch area overlooking the pond and next thing we see is Gina out in the Gazebo with a bag full of rolls and I think every duck in the place surrounding her. Also, our kids are very, very shy, but somehow Gina made friends with them all. Once she even was able to hold Garfield, that is a miracle! She really is a wonderful person and I am so glad we finally got meet and spend some time together.
