Not A Stratch! [Bath Pictures] ..

see how many cats I have...? I finally got to bathe all of them few days ago! :D for a bit over a month, they've been living in three different (safe but dusssty) cellars, moving from one to another. they all are just so greasy, oily and grey that you would need drain, refresh the tub every two-three diiirty cats!

shaddow who went missing for almost two days came back all webby and flithy have got me started! they had all their claws (224 total) clipped too - key & pictures for each of (pathetic after) cat to follow, started with my (avatar) heartcat. :)

:D = loving it!!

:o = okay with it, bearable. . .

:confused: = yeesh if meowmie's there then I should be ok...hurry up anyway?

Marvelous pictures! They look so cute all sopping wet but after a good rub with a nice comfy towel they must feel a whole lot better. Now to fill those hungry tummies!

Those are great pictures! The one and ONLY time we tried to bath Cammie she -- well the only word I can think of is -- ERUPTED! She exploded in a fury of sounds and movements that made it impossible to continue. That's been almost 3 years and we've never tried again. Luckily, she is much too busy sleeping to get dirty and she grooms herself very well.

OMG, Gina, you deserve top honors for bathing all those cats! And you're still alive! The fact that the cats let you bathe them shows the amount of trust they place in you. The pictures were wonderful, but that one of Miles looks downright scary.

Wow!!! Were you able to do all them in one day? If so that's amazing. :eek: I had to bathe Storm, Sunny, and Sky and I thought I'd never get them done in one day. I bet they all smell and feel wonderful now. :)

Wow, great job, Gina! You did this yourself? I am impressed! Usually it took Jeff and me to get the job done, but you managed beautifully. And, such cooperative kitties; that helps.

We used to do our guys in a laundry tub and Jeff made up a special board (just some plywood) which he covered with a carpet remnant. We stuck it in the tub on a slant, so that the cats could have something to cling to. It made them feel more secure.

I always loved it after they got bathed; they would shake their legs, walk around like they were embarrassed, then get down to licking themselves dry! They were always so nice and fluffy!!

Wow Gina! I was impressed with the move across the country that you made with your ark..... and now this! YOU AMAZE ME! :eek: I don't know that I would ever attempt to bathe my girls. Both are fascinated by water... but from a distance! I don't know what they would do if I actually put them in water! :rolleyes: What a great job you did! And I bet everyone smells wonderful! :D

That is exactly MY feeling too ;) Wow Gina - you did such a wonderful job. I enjoyed all the pictures and kept wondering how in the world you had the patience to bathe all of your babies and take pictures, too!! :D

I also have to agree with Gin that you must have such secure and trusting kitties to allow you to bathe them all...they are safe in meowmies hands.

That has to be one of the best series of Cat Photos,that we have seen in some tome Gina,and I know how much work went into getting those Wet Cat Photos. I love seeing all your Ctas in a pile,getting thier treats.

well, as barbara said before, I'm cat whisperer.. ;) yes, did all myself (with their wonderful help) in less than two hours - refreshening the water took so long! oh anna, absolutely killed my back but worth a several months of fragrancats. :D

*chuckles* no, crayola didn't get another bath. he had one about a week before we moved in. he just was having a pity party after hearing those cats meeeeowing. ;) and my baaack. hands. after holding "hold me please!" :confused: cats.
