I promise I will post about my critters :)

Greene County Humane Society Makes Decision
( Air Date: 2/3/2006 )
An update on a story we first told you about Thursday night.

The Greene County Humane Society is attempting to renovate its building.

In order to do that, the shelter board decided to not take in new animals.

Now it has voted to euthenize all the animals currently living at the facility, unless they`re adopted.

The board says this step is necessary to clean out the building and make repairs.

Currently 50 animals are housed at the shelter.

If they aren`t adopted by February 20th they will all be put down.

If you are interested in adopting a pet, call 812-847-4780.

heres the email if anyone wants it.

Trust me I know, I won't mention the fact that they don't spay and neuter before they adopt out, I am beyond ticked off.
I just want to get these animals out.

That's what they would do in Indiana. Other shelters help out in times
like these.Did this group ask any other shelters?

Local shelters are picking out a few, but as this place has stopped it's intake until the work is done the shelters are beyond full.

I am sick about this, talk about being a bunch of morons ... they have not heard of moving the animals around obviously.
