What a wonderful young man, and another gold-eyed white cat this week! He makes us wonder how agile and playful our Whitesey (COTD 2/4/06)was as a young kitten, considering how agile and playful he is still with his crippled leg. It is a blessing that Sweetie can get out to play with his mama and brother and keep those ferocious ducks in line. We are all blessed to be in the presence of Sweetie! Have a superb Cat of the Day day!

Except for the color of his eyes, he reminds me very much of my beloved cat Sadie, who lived out her nine short lives before she was 2 1/2 - hence convincing me in the process that all my cats afterward should be indoor cats, and keep out of the way of all the fatal dangers out of doors. Your Sweetie seems to have a well suited name. I love the thought of a little kitty head peeking at me from behind the shower curtain while I am *in* the bath.

I would have guessed that Sweetie was a soft drift of snow on the branch, except for his FL address. A tree cat, eh? Reminds me of my Pauline, who loved to hide from me in trees when she was a kitten. Now she is indoors, and gets plenty of climbing anyway. I hope that Sweetie has a treat- and fun-filled day, with both of his families on his well-deserved COTD :)
