In Memory of Sweet Jasmine

I got an email from Molly (Mugsy) this morning. They lost Jasmine the Great Dane last night at around midnight. :(:( She was only 6 1/2 years old. She was acting very lethargic and wouldn't eat. She couldn't get up. So they took her to the vet. X-rays showed a large mass in her abdomen. The vet said it was more than likely malignant, so they decided to send her to the Bridge rather than have her suffer any more than she already was.

Jasmine is the third dog they've lost in the last year and a half.

Molly and Mike, I'm so sorry. :( Jasmine's life was entirely too short, but I'll bet money that she was one of the happiest dogs on earth while she was with you. :)

Your loss makes me feel guilty for still being sad over the loss of our Murphy, in December.............it is never easy whether they are 6 or 16.

I'm so sad to hear this as Jasmine was such a sweet Great Dane! We all loved the many pics we've seen of her throughout the years. Please share all of our condolences with them. Thank you all so much. It's been a crappy year. We lost DeeDee last January and Jessie December 22 and Jasmine on February 6. It just hurts so much. The dogs all miss her too. Daisy is still somewhat lost.

Thank you again....it does mean a lot and helps to know that there are people who care.

Molly, I heard about DeeDee when it happened, but had not heard about Jessie. She was also a sweet little girl ,and I will always remember her antics trying to escape fromthe dog park (first under the fence, then trying to climb over into Mike's arms!) What a bundle of energy she was!! I'm sure is is enjoying being reuntited with Jasmine at the Bridge so she can do some more bossing around!!
