any other photo contests?

I have asked before if anyone knows any photo contests i can submit this picture to..I submitted it to one, but you just get published but you dont win anything, you have to buy the book. Does anyone know any award contets?

Just go to Google and type in Animal Photo Contest.

BTW, don't bother with PICTURE.COM. . . I hear it's a gimmick. I entered Josie's pic on there a few years back and WON (whatever) . . . got my certificate . . . got my pic trademarked and published in a book and whatever . . . . Then I find out that people that are actually trying to buy these books that cost like $60 are loosing their money. They send their money and never see the books.

My point is, make sure the contest is legit before you buy anything.

Stay away from any contests that automatically publish your photo but then makes you buy a book, item, or tells you to attend a conference if you give them your credit card information. The company should be buying your photograph or paying you royalities, not the other way around.

International Library of Photographers, Photography Vibe/Circle of Photographers all run these scams and make money off the innocent person just trying to enter a contest. Whenever you want to enter a contest just check Google for the name of the contest to check feedback from others.

The only One that I know is to enter Your Cats as COTD, and sooner or later Your Cat may well be chosen for All Pet Lovers to see thier Smiling Faces!!
