Sadie!!!!
That's right, my big girl is 4!! I can't believe it. April 9, 2002 is a day I will never forget. That day we (then b/f, now hubby) went and picked up little Sadie Anne. Hubby had seen her before and told me about her and when we went there I fell in love with the cutest little bundle of puppy love. They put bows on her and some puppy cologne and away we went with her. I held her the whole way home, not really knowing how since she was so small. She is the first dog that was all mine. Not my parents dog but my dog. I bonded with her immediately. We had a crate for her but she yelped and whined that I then let her in the bed with us. :o Well she has never left that bed. :) I remember just a few days after we had her she managed to crawl under the recliner and I freaked out because I thought she was stuck and I didn't want to crush her by moving the recliner. We got her out thankfully unharmed. I was so in love with her and still am to this day. She has grown into the most loving, sweet, cuddlebug of a dog you could imagine. She stays by my side all the time. :) All she wants to do is sit with me and have me rub her belly. She just looks at me with her big, brown eyes as if she's telling me "I love you Mom". She doesn't run around and play as much as she used to and she would rather play one on one with me. She would rather sit back and watch everyone else run around. But if she does get to running around, you better watch out because she can go. She is my heart dog as one could say and I couldn't have asked for a better soul mate.
Happy 4th birthday big girl!! :)
These were just taken today. Sadie doesn't do too many different poses for pictures.
