Hi everyone
I'm new here, but I just purchased myself my first English Bulldog and don't know if this is normal behavior for the dog or not.
The English bulldog is a female and is 3 months will be 4 months Feb 8th.
Ok I had a problem with where the dog slept it would 40% of the time smell like urine. So I started to take a more careful eye on the dog's activities. I have caught the dog 5 times now peeing while it is asleep. 3 of the 5 times the dog (Zoe) did not have any water within a 2 hours of falling asleep and all 5 times she had just went outside to pee before she went to bed.
I find it very very weird. I have 3 pugs, 1 american bulldog, 1 doberman, and 2 rottweilers growing up in my lifetime and this is the first dog I have ever seen 100% asleep and peeing while she is laying flat and not moving out afterwards... to make things worst the last time she did it I had her in my lap petting her while she slept...
Is this a common issue with English Bulldogs or should I take her to see a Vet on the issue?
