If you ever - and I mean ever - suspect someone of being a "troll," or lying about a pet being theirs, or whatever you find suspicious,
1. Tell me, via PM. Include the username, and specifics.
2. Do not post publicly about it. Let me investigate. As a moderator, this is my responsibility. I can check things, and see things, like IP addresses, email address and other account information that you cannot.
3. Do not post rolly-eyes and snide comments about that user while I am investigating.
4. Do not crow publicly 'I knew it!"
5. Do not treat newcomers with suspicion and vicious comments, just because they are new. You were new here once, too. Remember?
6. Do not discriminate against anyone based on their age or "maturity", whether they are older or younger than you. It is not fair, it is not polite, and it is not in the spirit of Pet Talk.
All of the above bring down the whole atmosphere of Pet Talk, both for ourselves and new people who might be thinking of joining.
