But does anyone have a link to a Virus Scanner that I can download onto my computer?
I installed XP Pro 64 onto my computer & AntiVir, thinks my computer is a server & will not install unless I buy it, grrrr
I do not want to hunt for one on my own as I know I'm not protected at all. So all the help would be great :) & I would like more then 1 scanner, as I like having 2 of everything :)

This is a free anti virus that I have been using for some time now and I have had NO problems with it.. A deputy sherriff told me about it and that is what they use on their computers at work... Best of all, it's FREE!
(I was a faithful Norton user and faithfully had problems the WHOLE time I had it! Have had NONE, "0" problems with Avast.)

AVG AntiVirus is excellent when used in conjuction with Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D (those aren't virus programs though, just malware scanning programs).
PS AVG is FREE.. you just have to poke around but there IS a free version

I should have put a little more in my post, but the link I posted has a link to the freeware AVG program, which is excellent.
