My Ferret has a cold what can I do?

:( My ferret has a cold. It has the tell tale signs : Sneezing, drainage, and shortness of breath. I turned up the room temp to 74 and I am trying to give it a lot of rest. I am bringing it to the vet later, so other than the vet, are there any other measures I can take to help it feel better or more comfortable? :confused:

Get your ferret to the vet. They can die from the common cold. The rule is if you or anyone you know is sick with a cold/flu they are not to touch a ferret cause it can be life threatening!!!
