Dear Diary,
What's a guy to do? I know some of my friends think I am getting a bit "broad in the beam" -- and a few other places. But OH! this diet food. :( She went and bought some more! And look at the size of this bag!

Woe is me! This stuff is like eating cardboard!

Yow - I was always told that two shakes and one real meal is the best way to go. Some real food in there. Worked for me, anyway.
Eddie - don't worry. I am sure meowmie will mix a bit of yummy stuff in to make it all better! HUGS!

Awwww Eddie! Send me your address and I will mail you some DECENT food and treats! My babies won't touch that stuff either here at home but they have to eat it at Uncle Kevlins because their cousin cat Dusty is a bit on the "fluffy" side.......Is there someplace you can hide food if I get it to you? (Can't let your human servant know you have a stash of food and treats somewhere!)..... and then you could just scatter THAT stuff all over the house and they'll think you ate it?
Could poor Eddie have food he likes only a lot less of it? :)

My sugars have been way out of wack I'm type 2 non insulin dependant trying to stay that way. it's for 3 days then i can have small portions for 1 meal I just have to decide which one. I'm thinking breakfast. I'm so hungry in the AM.
But I sure know how Eddie feels. I'm begaining to hate the sight of the powder can. Yuck !!

Poor, poor Eddie! Are you starving, baby? As today is Burns' Day, how about I send you a nice haggis? Will you share with Edwina?

Mmmm, yum, haggis! :D :D :D (now I'm just kidding, because I've never had haggis, so I can't make jokes, er, statements about it!) I did have a friend who went to Scotland (she absolutely LOVED it), but did not partake of haggis.
Anyway, sweet Eddie, I know the feeling; diet food is so BORING and tasteless; doesn't your meowmie sneak you a treat once in a while?
BTW, I think you look just fine!

Poor Eddie!! The fact that your meowmie bought you such a huge bag, can only mean that she is serious about this!! My Maya had this food too during her last diet. At firdt she was stubborn too, and refused to eat it. But when she got really hungry, she attacked her foodbowl, and ate everything she could get!! In the end, she lost 1 kg!!
Good luck sweet Eddie, eat that food like a real gentleman, and maybe then your meowmie will give you an extra treat!! (I WOULD !!! ;) )
PS. Doesn't HH Lady Edwina get this food too???

Eddie everyone here is sorry for you :( Maybe Blondie shouldn't have bought such a big bag and rather checked out different samples.
A big bag that's not eaten can go a long way.

Eddie, I don't blame you for looking depressed, that bag is pretty big. I doubt you'll ever get thought it. I suggest you rally together some other kitties from your neighborhood to come and help you deal with it.
When my mom thinks I getting a bit plump, she goes and buy Hills W/D instead of the usual C/D or S/D. If you ever finish that bag, then go and write S/D on her shopping list, that is the one that tastes the best. :p You can tell her that it's good for avoiding crystals in your bladder - that should convince her. ;)
Your pal,
Fister
PS. I don't think you look fat at all, you're just big boned like me.

Oh Eddie,
I'm sorry they're starving you with that crap. Somehow I feel it's my fault for sending you a bit of my "stash". *hangs head in shame* You KNOW how it gives you the munchies. That's probably why you've, let's say, added a few digits on the ole scale. When you're eating it, just think of fresh salmon or tuna. It might help.

Eddie,
How I can relate! Meowmie has me on the same stuff! Yuck! I've found what works to make her give me more food: eating paper. Just find out what she's working on (and since your meowmie work from home, you know what a good supply of important papers there can be!) and then walk up as nice as can be. Let her get all happy that you're visiting her at work. Get a few pets. Then when she's distracted by a phone call, start shredding! She can't yell at you while on the phone with someone important so she'll fill your dish to stop your destructive behavior. Works like a charm.
Destructively,
Harry
