Kiara's 1st Swim of the Year! *4 pics*

It's been far too cold for Kiara to swim, she hasn't since around November! Today it was in the upper 80's so I let her swim while I cooked dinner on the grill. She just LOVED it and wanted me to share her pictures with you.

Okay, I lied... she swam at the beach on Christmas. But, that doesn't count - I'm talking sitting out by the pool all day type of swim. ;) I'm surprised she hadn't begged us to swim like she does in the summer... she must think it was too cold, too!

Can I ask what mode you are taking your photos in? I can never get action shots to come out :( We have the same camera, btw.

These were just taken in normal Auto mode. It's not necessarily the camera or mode, more so the technique. Try following the moving object with your camera, and move it along with the object. That's how I took these. :)

I do follow the objects, but sometimes Nova and Luka are playing in one spot. If I use flash, it can usually get it the picture. But outside I don't use flash and the moving pics turn out blurry. I've read so much on the camera and tried lots of different modes and still can't get it. Boca is also something I can't get. Supposedly the Profile mode does that, but it never works for me. :( It's a wonderful camera, other than those two things.

I love to see KIKI's pictures swimming but at the same time I can't stand the fact that it has been so unbearabley HOT here.
I wanna cuddle in a blanket while wearing a sweater and drink hot cocoa.... :(
Instead, it's so hot we have the AC on and the mosquitos are back already and ready to eat... me!

Your first official swim..oh, what fun! You are so lucky to have your own pool, Kiara and to have the nice weather to go with it. Loved seeing you all wet again, little girl. Have lots of fun in your pool. Our anniversary is the first week of Feb. and I told Alden that we should take a vacation and go to Florida..lol..that way we could stop by and I could see you swim and visit with you and your siblings. Its not going to happen though:(. He can't get that week off :rolleyes: . Someday Ki, someday!
