I am delighted that they went to a shelter to get their kitty and found such a love-YOU!

Dear Adopters,

I don't often respond to these things but this one was special! :) It does my heart so much good when I read about the sweet animal who was adopted who no one suspected WOULD be adopted.

I hope you know what a good thing you have done here and I am so glad things are working out. I have five young kittens who I rescued from my barn but they were so shy, none of the traditional adoption organizations would give me hope that they were adoptable. :(

So.....I have five cats I didn't plan on and can't afford but I will give them my best....and adjust my budget accordingly.

We all must do all we can (and more) to help these little creatures. Thanks to you, one more has been given a life. :D

My husband was reading your story over my shoulder, and I could hear him sniffing!! What a story!!! Angels were definitely keeping watch over you!! Those who mistreated you have a Higher Authority to answer to for what they did to you. But that is NOT where you were meant to. All that had to happen, so you would live in a wonderful FOREVER home, where you have people that love and nursed you back to health and beauty! I think it is such a good thing that you are the BEST big sister and teach the little one all the right things. Baby Sookie looks like an adorable cat. It is hard to believe that the little kitty in the picture went thru so much abuse. It was kind that someone thought enough of a poor helpless animal to put it in a box and drop it off where it could be found and hopefully rescued. At least I think someone was trying to help. It's good to see any kitty find a happy life. It's especially good to see such an unhappy cat wind up in such fine circumstances. As the family says, an adult kitty with little hope of adoption, already so miserable. It's just very fortunate. Hope Sooki has many more years to enjoy it.
