Here's the boy....Grant

It's been too long since I posted pics of the boy and since his birthday is next Friday I though I'd post some early birthday pics. I already bought him some treats and a new toy, BUT silly me left his treats (Greenies for him and the girls and some Nutro treats) on the kitchen table. Needless to say, when I left the house the GIRLS (to my surprise) got into the treats and ate them all. :eek: I will have to buy some more for his birthday now. :o I also bought him a Romp N Roll Jolly Ball (http://www.petcarecentral.com/hp-10606.html). I figured he couldn't tear this toy up, I was wrong. He had the rope out in no time, so I put it back it and made some more knots so he couldn't do it again. That lasted for a little bit. Mind you this all happened this afternoon. He LOVED the ball, ran around the yard with it like a crazy dog. Well he managed to get the rope out again so I am leaving it out now and he fetches the rope and chases the ball around. Silly boy. :D These pics are of this afternoon when we were out playing and then a few of him in his new crate.

Amber, I've been meaning to congratulate you on your accomplishments with Grant. I read the thread but hadn't replied yet. What wonderful news.

And you know your kids are just too freakin cute. I bought you something the other day, dog-related, that reminded me a BIT of Maggie. ;)

Hmm....basketball on a rope, have to keep my eye out for one of those. So far the only toy he has not yet destoyed is his Kong. He didn't destroy the Jolly Ball really, just got the rope out of it. :D I sent you a PM about the upcoming meetings.

The basketball is backordered though. Straps wrap around the ball so Ki hasn't been able to get the ropes off yet. LOL! I had to laugh when you talked about him hitting himself in the head with the ball:o Bon's been known to do that a few times himself with a few of his toys.
We had the soccer ball like the basketball Kay is talking about and Bon tore the rope and everything off :rolleyes: But he did have fun playing and hitting himself in the head while it was still in one piece!

I've always thought Grant was a very cool looking dog and some of these pictures you've taken are wonderful!

Grant, Sadie and Maggie are adorable! Aww, I LOVE Grant so much! Kay, I can't believe you get to cuddle with him >_< lucky. It looks like he loves the toy you got him, Gonzo has the same toy but he's a pansey and will only carry it around by the rope. I hope your handsome ACD boy has an awesome B-day!
