please pray for my precious Dude

I had to take my precious boy Dude in to the vets today
He had not been feeling well for a few days and yesterday he would not eat all all
I took him into the vet this morning and tests and x-rays were done
His kidneys are failing
the vet is hoping the kidney failure is being caused by an infection and that is what is causing the kidney failure
his urine has been tested and I will find out the results tomorrow if it is an infection
if it is an infection he will be put on antibiotics and IV and hopefully the infection will be flushed out of his system
Please prayer for my precious Dude and please pray that this is indeed the cause of his kidneys failing
because the alternative is something I can not bear to think of

My Precious Dude died this morning
I am numb and feel heart sick..
I want to thank all of you for your wonderful words of encouragement and prayers for my baby
I still can not believe it
He died 10 minutes before we got to see him this morning at the vet
I picked him up and gave him his kisses and squeezes for his last time
I just wanted to let you all know

I am so sorry. When I started to read this thread I thought that even kidney failure is not necessarily the end... but then it was too late for Dude.

Ms Pepper, you must have written that yourself, it is clearly straight from the heart and so beautiful and touching. And the words would just have been flowing effortlessly from your pen, I imagine. I understand because that happened to me once, I just got up one morning after a loss, sobbing and trying to start the day and the poem just happened to me.

You have a beautiful heart and Dude was fortunate indeed to have known the love from it when he was here on earth and is dwelling peacefully within it now, and will do so forever.

Take good care of yourself now, Ms Pepper, be as kind to yourself as you were to Dude, you need that now and it's what he wants for you.
