What is it about lamps and cats?
You may remember The Mystery of the Murdered Lamp Read it here (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=64196). The culprit was never convicted due the number of ”shady” characters involved. Well, now another innocent lamp is being attacked.
I made this lamp a few years ago for my sister. I took a sheet of perforated copper and wired it together into a column. Then I put a piece of PVC piping up the middle and wrapped it with little white lights. I took it over to my sister’s house. She hated it on sight so it came back to my house. We like the gentle “mood” lighting it produces so we put it in the dining room. It has sat there for 3 or 4 years now minding its own business.

A few days ago, Bobcat was sitting at the dining room table working on some drawings for a book he is illustrating. Now, the kitties in our house are not allowed on any counter or table. And they pretend to abide by that rule whenever we’re around. :p But, one very curious kitty couldn’t stand not seeing what Bobcat was working on, so she climbed the lamp and sat up on the top of the cabinet where she could hang over like a vulture and supervise her Bobcat.
Can you guess which kitty climbs the lamp?
1. Is it Halo? The “my back legs don’t exactly work right so I have to pretty much use my front claws to climb” kitty?
2. Is it Cammie? The “you’ve got to be kidding, I’m not moving until I’ve gotten at least 12 more hours of sleep” kitty? or
3. Is it Pepper? The “fence walking, balcony leaping, roof jumping, my heart murmur doesn’t slow me down at all” kitty?
