Just another random poll....
For me, it depends on the dog and what sort of coat it has. I don't mind shedding when it comes to long coated breeds, I hardly notice it actually. I don't like shedding when it comes to short coated breeds because it seems to weave into absolutley everything and doesn't come out easily.

well now that we have a black dog and a white dog, then it really doesn't matter because I am never going to go anywhere without my dog or cats on me!!!

Agh! I wasn't watching what I was doing and I voted for the wrong one. I meant to vote for No.
I suppose it doesn't bother me because my mum is one of those cleaning-obsessed people who insists on the furniture and floors to ALL be vacuumed every day. :D And I always have a lint-roller handy.

Autumn's hair is everywhere! I clean and vacuum and brush and brush. If I were in my own house where my stepdad didn't freak out over hair I'd be less worried, but I still don't like tumbleweeds of hair blowing across the floor.
*There's a dog hair floating in my glass of mountain dew right now. I'm still drinking it mind you, but when it gets to a point where I can reach it I'll fish it out.

I voted depends what kind of coat. Zsa-Zsa's fur is OK, it's fine and soft and dead easy to clean up when it's on furniture. But Tia's is stiff and short and sharp, and it sticks all over your hands. Once i rubbed my eye and there was some of her fur on my finger, god that stung for a while:rolleyes: I don't think Foxy moults so she's not a problem.

If you got to the market place I have a little thing in there. I have started getting a little business enough to pay for some new things I need for my warn out tools for spinning.

I don't like shedding but I'm so used to it and I know I couldn't live without pets so I've learned to deal with it. :D
I'd rather have long dog hair everywhere than short, as said before short hair is just too hard to get off of fabrics & the such.

ditto leahmm!
with so many animals for many years, can't imagine living without a hair. really, I don't mind at all, sometimes I saw a tiny hair in my food, I shrug and eat! *I swear*. :D I also go out with black clothes proudly with whitefurs all over. ;)
how cute you say it, chocolate puppy. :) I absolutely agree - see mine (http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=95439) too! I wouldn't complain. ;) :p

For the most part I can tolerate it, but I cannot stand when my clothes get covered in hair.

I figure that I shed, we all shed hair so why be bothered. Sasha sheds alot, especially with our Chinooks. It can be -20 one day and +20 the next. The ferrets shed twice a year and the snakes shed about every 1-2 months.

Not so much that I don't mind it...more like, I've learned to deal with it. If I want pets, then I gonna put up with fur. With 4 pets, I need to put up with 4xshedding. I sware by those roller/tape things. My work clothes OFTEN get covered with fur, so I just get it off with the roller thingie. Phew.

I don't like it, but I can deal with it. I hate having to get dressed up ... it's impossible to go anywhere without fur on me! But, I love my pets nonetheless and to think the other option is to not have them ... I'll take the shedding!

I don't mind shedding, they can't help it. I can't say I am always THRILLED to get out someplace and discover hairs all over my dark clothes  , but it doesn't really bother me too much.

I could do with less shedding. Seems like no matter how much I sweep and clean, there's always a lil' tumbleweed of Collie hair on the floor. When I had just Cairns, I never could figure out what all the fuss was about dog hair. Never was an issue with them. But boy howdy, do I get it now with the Collies. :)
It does help when I take them to the groomer to get their coats blown out, so I think that's gonna become a regular thing. At least every 6 months, if not every quarter.

Depends on the type of coat...I don't mind short or medium length hair shedding, but long hair can get kind of annoying... Especially when I am the one to clean it up! lol:rolleyes: (Blaze's fur is medium length though, so I'm ok with that);)
