Creamsicle......that is a good name. I also have a orange & white kitty and thought about that name, and also Dixie (for dixie cup) :) however, he already new his name as Wylie, which fits him quite well too.

Creamsicle, you are such a pretty kitty, and deserve your honor as COTD! Congrats

What a shame a sweet and beautiful kitty like her had a hard life for so long. But it's great to see she has a loving home now.

Creamsicle I love your name!! I loved meeting you this morning and hearing about your transition from life on the streets to the good life. My Trevor, who is orange just like you and your same age, thinks you are a very pretty girl! ;) Congratulations Creamsicle on being our beautiful Saturday Cat of the Day!

You really are beautiful, Creamsicle! And my compliments to the photographer for capturing your beauty in that photograph! Lucky, lucky kitty, you are, Creamsicle. I think "hanging" out for 4 years is a long time! But now you have the warmth of a real home and yet the open window to survey the great outdoors.

My most heartfelt congratulations to you on being the Cat of the Day! :)

Who could abandon such a sweet face? I'm so glad you have found your forever home now. My cat, Luke, admired your picture very much. He is an orange and white baby too. You have the same sweet look in the face. Congratulations on being our special Cat of the Day today.:)

Now that is one beautiful cat - and aptly named, too. What a fine photograph as well (this from a professional photographer with more than a few good cat photos of his own). I'm glad that Creamsicle accepted the invitation to come in before winter could turn her into an icicycle.

Dear Creamsicle! Whenever I see a beautiful white and orange kitty such as you, that's what I think of, a creamsicle!! And what a yummy treat you are to savor this Saturday:) I'm so glad you've given up your tough life on the streets for that warm, sunny window sill, and a loving forever home where you can be pampered and adored! HI!!! You are soooooo pretty and you look like me. I like to go outside also, but I am not allowed out of the backyard. My mon doesn't want me to go out at all. But I scream and cry and throw myself against the door untill she lets me out. Wolf

Wolf insist on going out. I live in NYC and it makes me very very worred when he goes out. My others stay in. But Wolf thinks he owns the neighborhood and needs to go to survey his domain. He was found in a dumpster when he was about 10 wks. old. the lady who found him could not keep him, so she took him to my house and I could not refuse. He has a arch enemy, a little blk and white guy, they are both neutered so they dance around the back yard making ugly noises at each other. When I go to take Wolf in he prances around the house thinking he once agin saved the day and chased away the other little guy. He can then snuggles up for a nap. Janet

What a fitting name you have, and how patient you have been (milling around in that apt. complex for 4 YEARS!) in hoping someday SOMEone would invite you in to stay and to be loved . . . I'm so glad your prayers were answered, and congratulations on being our sweet COTD! :)

We love kitty stories with a happy, happy ending! Creamsicle, you are a beautiful baby - you look so soffffft and you're very obviously loved! Being on your own had to be so scary for you, and now you can relax and be a happy cat (as the Pride and I feel every kitty should be!)

Bless you sweet one! Purrs and snuggles from us all...

Bari and the Pride

Thanks for the request, Logan - I have the beginnings of a website up, but so far have not added a cat page to it, although one of these days I will find the time to do it. And - I hate to be too self-promotional here - I have a series of cat books I am working on and hopefully our world will hold together and they will be published one day. Then I will share both the joys and sorrows that having cats in our lives has brought to my family with anyone in the world who is interested. I dare not submit to Cat of the Day because of copyright issues. As you might suspect, I am very jealous of my copyright. When I get that cat page up, I will let you know. Plus, my pictures are mostly black and white.
