It's been awhile since I posted any pics of Dawn birdie. I thought I'd share a few of her taking a bath last week. Nothing spectacular but I thought they were cute!

That is adorable! Now I just have to teach my dogs to be that cute when taking a bath, rather than hiding in the corner of the shower hoping I can't see them! What a sweet baby.

Dawn is beautiful! Looked like she really enjoyed it.

Are my cockatiels the only birds in the world that absolutly despise having a bath!!? :p Giving them a bath is seriosly like pulling teeth :eek:

Thank you! :D Dawn loves taking a bath but only when she wants to. In the summer I roll her cage out sometimes and use the sprayer hose on mist setting and she usually loves it. However she's never actually taken a bath in the birdbath I got her long ago that was actually made for birds, she doesn't like it to be enclosed. So I got that rock-like reptile feeding dish and made that her bath!

No you are not the only one.Emmy Hates it too.Misting her is also a nightmare.She starts chirping like mad and tring to fly away(wings are clipped so never gets that far but then she just running like a mainic)She hates all bathing bowls or dishes I have given her too.
