Is she on flea prevention? Wearing a flea / tick collar? Using a topical? These can and do cause nerve damage in some dogs. Head shaking is classic side effect of those drugs. What about ear mites? have you checked for that? Had recent vaccines?

No, since she doesn't go outside much she is not on any of those medications nad has no flea or tick color. I think she is getting vaccines soon. I don't know. But could it possibly be beacuse she had fleas a little while ago? We got rid of them with the medication buyt now shes off that.

I heard that fleas die in the winter because it cold, so is it possible they can be living in your house?

What should I look for to make sure there not? I highly doubt they are.

Maybe she has an ear infection. When Tango got one last year she scratched and shook her head often. Do her ears have a weird scent? are they a bit red or more pink than usual?
