Here are some pics of spike that i just took, you can really see that shes getting more yellow dots on her head. The 1st one, she was kind of mad at me for taking so many pictures lol. and in the 2nd one, it looks like she is posing for the camera :)

She's cute :)

I don't know much about cockatiels, but that looks like a pretty tiny cage 0_o

Aww, she's adorable!

How is she coming along? Is she still very timid and quite scared of your hands? If so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider buying a rectangular cage. I've mentioned it before and I'll mention it again. You have no idea what a difference a large, rectangular cage can do to a bird's behavior. As soon as I switched Apricot to a larger cage, he immediately started cuddling up to me and gaining confidence. Think of it as Spike's early Christmas present ;)

oh yeah shes alot better, she'll let my boyfriend, jason, touch her but not me. because i dont work with her as much as he does. but she will give you kisses when you put your face to the cage and always talks! im so proud of us that we got her to do the wolf call , its so cute. and now she is copying the dog, when the dog crys to go outside, she'll do that.

About the cage, we are going to get one soon, but she seems fine in this one for now, but she is growing fast, so we will get one soon.

Spike got treats from my boyfriends mom for christmas, now she is eating out of my hand, i've tried it before but she was to scared. If i stick my hand in the cage when she is on her rope perch she will take the treat, but if she is on her other perch, where there is that little plastic bird, she will bite at me. She probley thinks that little bird is her friend and that im going to hurt her.

Now should i try teaching her "up" with those treats?

And good news, my mom said she is looking for cages for me, so im sure il be getting a new one for spike this weekend.
