What's a fairly cheap gift to get evreybody? Like family and friends?
I'm sure most of us give the basic gift to family and freinds.
I was thinking maybe a Travel mug with a $2 gift certificate and chocolates in the mug?
What other gift ideas are there??

Calendars at the Buck or Two, or Dollar Store, whatever you have. I found some REALLY nice ones there, ranging between 1.50-2.00.

My mom gave a coffee mug, with some chocolates, a highlighter, candy cane, and one of those little packets of hot chocolate to all her students. I thought it was a great idea! I helped her put them under the tree, and mentioned that I wanted one, and she got me and my sister each one for our birthday's yesterday :p. Of course. . all the chocolate is gone now. . but it was / is a great gift!

I like to take cocoa mix and add crushed up peppermint candy/candy canes. I bag it in a tin that I wrap in colored cellophane and put that in a mug. (There are some nice mugs at the dollar store near me!)

I gave all my coworkers little baggies filled with candies and a little candy holder. I work with 12 people not including my two advisors and committee member so I couldn't afford to buy them all real expensive presents. I think they'll like them though.

A Christmas ornament.
Sometimes you can find them that have a space where you can take a black magic marker and write the person's name on them. My hubby got one last year at his office party and it was really cute!

Have you thought about gifts in a jar (http://familycrafts.about.com/od/giftsinajar/)? A great inexpensive gift.
