It's 3 years ago today that you passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I miss you SO much!! Your VERY loud purr. The way you snuggle up to me and put your paw on my cheek to make me stop crying. If I didn't stop, you bit my chin and ran off. I'll never forget you my dear, sweet "Bubs". :(

Isn't it amazing what a huge hole these little creatures leave in our lives after they have gone?? Your Casey was with you for many years and he will always know how much he was loved by you!!! I hope your memories of Casey are a help to you!!! Take Care, Sandra

kb2jyx,

Casey has left a huge hole in my heart. He had been with me since he was 4 or 5 weeks old, the vet wasn't sure. He literally climbed up on my shoulder and purred in my ear as if to say, "Okay Mom, I'm ready to go home now." I miss him at night when he used to sleep on my pillow, my head conveniently tucked in the crook of his belly while he purred away.

*sigh* I love and miss you dude!!

moosmom!!! My Spunky, that Gary mentioned, left for the bridge on 9/15/04. I adopted him when he as about 3-4months old. He was THE best therapy cat ever(you can read the tribute I wrote on the anninversary of the first year anniversary9/15/05 in the Cat Memorial section). Casey and Spunky must have been "brothers" because Spunky slept with his head on my left shoulder and his front paw either on my heart, chin, or on my mouth(I think he did not want me to snore!). Now, there are no cats that sleep like that. We get so use to their presence! But I have to remember that each cat is their own cat, so to speak! Sandra
