Christmas Kitty

Yep, that's right, this thread is to celebrate Christmas in my new house, BUT to keep it legally in this section, there is a kitty in here :)

First, our kitchen. See the lights above the cabinet? We had outlets installed at both sections where you see lights. So we can plug them in all the way up there, and keep them plugged in. How? We have a switch by the sink that we use to turn them on/off. Handy, huh ??

Here's the living room. The outlet that these tree lights are plugged into is also operated by switch, so now I don't have to get down and unplug! (Isn't it funny/lame how this brings me joy ???) Don't forget the cute little package under the tree!

Funny? Lame? NO WAY! I live for conveinent outlets and switches! At least yours work... I have a lot of outlets and switches that do nothing.:( My hubby's best friend just spent a month on our couch, he's an electrican so now I have some working ones... We miss Sean.:(

WOW, I'm impressed! What a beautiful house, and the switches are WONDERFUL! :) But the most impressive thing there is that priceless gift under your tree! HOW did you manage to get something so beautiful, so exquisite, so unique, so absolutely irreplacable?!?? ;) :D

I'd love to have one of those under my tree (or in my stocking!!). what a beautiful present.

My hubby is remote-obsessed. Besides the remotes for TVs, DVD players, VCRs, CD players, and the fireplaces, he has a remote entry on the back porch, and remotes for the fans. And, yes, if he could figure out how to hook our Christmas trees up for remote, he'd do that. (but they are on a switch, like yours!)

We have a large plant shelf in our greatroom and have lots of different, small lights up there (cactus, star, moon, neon palm tree, etc.) and all of them are on remote!

If he could figure out how to put ME on remote, he'd probably do it.

Your house is lovely!!! A first Christmas in a new house is so much fun!
