:( My ChowChow kitty is gone

:( My precious ChowChow kitty passed away this morning. He was 16. This past year, his health had deteriorated steadily. My dear friend has come to help me give him sub-Q fluids several times a week since last spring. It was obvious to me when I came home from work yesterday that he was so much worse. I spent last evening holding & rocking him & just loving him. He cried off and on, he was obviously in pain. This morning he could no longer move, he was lying in a dark corner. I wrapped him up and held him another half-hour so so, then called the vet. I held his head and stroked him while he was mercifully euthanized. I've had him since he was a kitten, and I promised him I would take care of him for all of his life, and now I have fulfilled my promise. His little kitty spirit is free of pain now, and I will think of him every single day for the rest of my life.
Safe journey. my dear ChowChow, rest in peace. I love you forever :(

Next Month,they will Christmas In Hawaii.
