Why don't we have a thread that has links to web sites that have low cost or free cat care in different areas?? If it wasn't for my mom who knew someone who knew someone I wouldn't have been able to get my kitties nuetered. Some people who either can't afford to get their cats fixed or like 2 cases I have seen in the past week here are young with irresponsible parents who either don't want to spend the money or they simply don't have the extra money especially now days it being the holidays and all. The web site I have is for the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area they do spay and nueter for a donation, they also do shots and adoptions I think. www.kittico.org (http://www.kittico.org)
They did both of my kitties and all I paid was like $11. Very friendly and helpful, my mom had a momma cat that was the neighbors who had like 4 different litters and the last time she got pregnant my mom finally took her and had her babies aborted and they spayed momma cat. Now before you get all upset and start yelling my mom already was taking care of the 10 kittens that were still around plus the momma and the daddy, so she couldn't take care of another litter. She one by one took them all down to get them fixed. My mom is the little old lady who lived in a shoe but instead of all the children she had cats.... :p
